The Divine Holy Birth

The birth of subhananda itself was somthing wonderful, very peculiar and special. His parents had no issues for a period of 24 years since marriage. subhananda's father Ittyathi, of malayilthara house,Padinjare Venpaala village,nedumbram Panchayath, Thiruvalla taluk,Allappy District,Kerala state(then Travancore),south india,was a simple and noble astrologer,and mother Kochuneeli (kulaayikkal House Budhanoor village, Thiruvalla taluk )was a very humble ,pious and cultured woman.The holy couples were leading a life of prayer ,fasting and penance From 14-11-1869(1045vrischikam 1)onwards they had been deeply and continuously praying for the gift of a child,visiting the holy palces and temples,performing several Poojas and Bhajanas,At last Kochuneeli performed 41 day continuous rigorous bhajan, from 15th november 1880 (1056 vrischikam 1)onwards,at a Saalagraama* Temple at Changanassery. On the 41st day ,on 26.12.1881(1057 Dhanu 12),the priest of the temple after giving Prasad of two banana fruits to her,and on knowing that she chose the smaller fruit to eat, predicted that she will soon give birth to a worldly renowned child. Thus after the long twenty four years of Worshipping and holy awaiting ,the fortunate Kochu Neeli at the age of forty gave birth to the blessed child.

This by the Grace of God ,as predetermined, the Incarnated, Lod subhananda was born on 28th April 1882(1057 Medam 17), Friday on Poora nakshathra(star),in the scheduled caste Sambava(paraya) family;( kulakkal house ,at Budhanoor village), to the devout Sambava couples Ittyathi and Kochu Neeli,blissfully named as Narayanan(A synonym of Lord Maha Vishnu),
Narayanan was smart , handsome individual and very perceptive of all that was happening around him. Though he was a little naughty during his childhood; his parents never punished him even with harsh words. His father had given him primary literacy , as low caste children were not allowed to school at that time .His childhood was an ordinary uneventful one till he had an enlightening experience of Diviya Transition at the age of 7.

ആനന്ദം സദാനന്ദം

മണ്ണിലെ മനുഷ്യന്റെ മനോമാലിന്യങ്ങളെ മാറ്റി മനസ്സിനും ശരീരത്തിനും നിത്യസുഖം നൽകാൻ അവതാരങ്ങൾ ഓരോ കാലഘട്ടങ്ങളിൽ മന്നിൽ അവതരിച്ചിരുന്നു.അതുപോലെ കലിയുഗത്തിലും അവതരിച്ച്‌ മനുഷ്യകുലത്തിന്‌ രക്ഷ നൽകിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. മനുഷ്യസമൂഹം നേരിട്ടിരുന്ന ഏറ്റവും ബീഭത്സവും ക്രൂരവുമായ ജാതിഭ്രാന്തിനെ ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നും തുടച്ചു മാറ്റി,ശക്തമായ ജാതിക്കോട്ട കൊത്തളങ്ങളെ ജ്ഞാനമാകുന്ന ആയുധത്താൽ ഇടിച്ചു നിരത്തി മനുഷ്യനു സ്വസ്ഥമായി ജീവിക്കുവാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി അവതാരപുരുഷനായ ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികൾ സഹിച്ച ത്യാഗത്തിനും കഷ്ടപ്പാടുകൾക്കും അതിർത്തിയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

കലിയുഗത്തിൽ ഭഗവാൻ അവതരിക്കേണ്ട അവസരത്തിൽ ശുഭാനന്ദ തിരുനാമത്തിൽ അവതീർണ്ണനായി ആത്മബോധോദയ സംഘം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. കലിയുഗാവതാരത്തിന്റെ മാഹാത്മ്യം ലോകാന്ത്യം വരെ ശരീരങ്ങൾ മാറിമാറി സ്വീകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു വാഴുമെന്നതാണ്‌.തന്റെ തിരുശ്ശരീര വേർപാടിനു ശേഷം 12-വർഷങ്ങൾ കഴിഞ്ഞ്‌ ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരു ദേവനിൽ ശക്തി പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി പ്രവർത്തനം തുടങ്ങി.26-വർഷങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട്‌ ആത്മബോധോദയ സംഘത്തെ ലോകവ്യാപകമാക്കി വളർത്തി.ജാതി മത ഭേദങ്ങൾ മറന്ന ആത്മലോകം ആശ്രമത്തിൽ ഓടിയെത്തി.എത്തിയവരെലാം ആശ്വാസം അനുഭവിച്ചു.വിശ്വാസികളുടെ എണ്ണം അനുദിനം വർദ്ധിച്ചു. സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും ശാഖാശ്രമങ്ങളും നാടിന്റെ പല ഭാഗങ്ങളിലും ഉയർന്നു.പറയനെന്നുള്ള പരിഹാസം മാറ്റി പരമാനന്ദസ്വരൂപനായ ഭഗവാനാണ്‌ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവനെന്ന സത്യം ലേകസമക്ഷം ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തി.ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ തിരുവാഴ്ചയ്ക്കു ശേഷം ആദിശക്തി ഗുരു പ്രസാദ്‌ ഗുരുദേവനിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി നിന്നു കെണ്ട്‌ പന്ത്രണ്ടു വർഷക്കാലം ആദർശത്തേയും പരമ്പരകളേയും കനിഞ്ഞനുഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു വാണിരുന്നു .തന്റെ തിരുശ്ശരീര മാറ്റത്തിനു ശേഷം ഭഗവാൻ വീണ്ടും ഉദയമായി ഇന്നും വാഴുന്നു. സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവനിൽക്കൂടി.

ആത്മബോധോദയ സംഘത്തിന്റെ പരമാചാര്യ പദത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് വിരാജിച്ചരുളുന്ന നമ്മുടെ അമ്പോറ്റിയുടെ 80-മത്‌ മകയിരം ജന്മനക്ഷത്ര മഹാമഹം ഭക്തജനങ്ങളേകോപിച്ച്‌ 2010 ഫെബ്രുവരി 23 ആം തിയതി സന്നിധാനത്തിൽ ആഘോഷിക്കുകയാണ്‌.

കൊല്ലവർഷം 1105 കുംഭം മാസത്തിലെ മകയിരം നാളിൽ ചെന്നിത്തല കൊടുത്തുവേലിൽ തെക്കേതിൽ കുഞ്ഞുശങ്കരന്റെയും,കൊച്ചുകാളിയുടേയും മകനായി ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ തിരുശ്ശബ്ദപ്രകാരം ഭൂജാതനായ ആൺസന്തതിയാണ്‌ ഇന്ന് നമുക്കാരാധ്യനായി വാഴുന്ന ഗുരുദേവൻ .ഭഗവാൻ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവൻ തന്നെ തൃക്കരങ്ങളിലേടുത്ത്‌ കുഞ്ഞിന്‌ രാഘവൻ എന്നു നാമകരണം ചെയ്തു. രാഘവൻ എന്നാൽ എല്ലാറ്റിനേയും ജയിച്ചവൻ എന്നാണ്‌ അർത്ഥം. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ അരുമ സന്താനത്തേയുംകൊണ്ട്‌ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവനെ സമീപിച്ച്‌ കുഞ്ഞിനെ തൃപ്പാദത്തിൽ കിടത്തു മായിരുന്നു.തന്റെ ബാല്യകാലത്തിൽ തന്നെ പിതാവ്‌ വേർപെട്ടതിനാൽ കഠിനാദ്ധ്വാനിയായാണ്‌ രാഘവൻ വളർന്നത്‌.ഭഗവാൻ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവൻ സമാധിയായ സന്ദർഭത്തിൽ ചെന്നിത്തല പ്രദേശം മുഴുവൻ പ്രളയമായിമാറിയിരുന്നു .പുഴ നീന്തിക്കടന്നാണ്‌ രാഘവൻ കൊറ്റാർകാവിലെത്തി ഭഗവാന്റെ സമാധി കർമ്മങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തത്‌. ദൃഢവിശ്വാസത്തോടുകൂടി ഈശ്വരാർപ്പണമായി ജീവിച്ചാണ്‌ രാഘവൻ വളർന്നത്‌.

ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവനിൽ ശക്തി പ്രത്യക്ഷവാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങിയ സമയം മുതൽ മുഴുവൻ സമയ പ്രവർത്തകനായി രാഘവൻ മാറി.സമ്പ്രീതനായ ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവൻ രാഘവന്‌ "സദാനന്ദൻ" എന്ന പുതിയ നാമധേയം നൽകി അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ രാഘവന്‌ സദാനന്ദനായി ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവൻ പുനർജ്ജന്മം നൽകി. തന്റെ സമയത്തിൽ അൽപ്പ ഭാഗം മാത്രമാണ്‌ കുടുംബരക്ഷയ്ക്കായി സദാനന്ദൻ മാറ്റിവച്ചത്‌. ഭൂരിഭാഗം സമയവും ഗുരുശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കും ആദർശ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിനുമായി മാറ്റിവച്ചു. അക്കാലത്തെ ആദർശപ്രവർത്തനം കഠിനമായിരുന്നു .വിശപ്പും ദാഹവും സഹിച്ച്‌ കാൽനടയായി സഞ്ചരിച്ച്‌ ഭക്തഭവനങ്ങളിലെത്തി പ്രാർത്ഥന നടത്തുവാൻ ഈ യുവാവിന്‌ യാതൊരു മടിയുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. മടുപ്പു തോന്നാതെ ആദർശപ്രചരണത്തിന്‌ മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങിയ ഈ യുവാവിൽ ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവൻ തികച്ചും സംപ്രീതനായി. ഗുരുനാഥന്റെ ശാസനയ്ക്കും ശിക്ഷണത്തിനും വിധേയനായപ്പോഴും ഗുരുനിന്ദ്യം സദാനന്ദനിൽ ലേശം പോലും ജനിച്ചില്ല. എന്നു മാത്രവുമല്ല, എല്ലാം തന്റെ രക്ഷയ്ക്കും വളർച്ചക്കുമാണെന്ന് ഉറച്ചു വിശ്വസിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്‌ ഗുരുപാദ സേവയിൽ ഇളകാതെ നിന്നു

1986-ൽ ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ തൃക്കരങ്ങളാൽ കാഷായവസ്ത്രം കൊടുത്ത്‌ സന്യാസസംഘത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രവർത്തകനാക്കി. അന്ന് താൻ നൽകിയ സന്യാസ നാമം"സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധൻ" എന്നായിരുന്നു .അന്നേ സ്വാമിയുടെ മനസ്സിൽ മാറാത്ത ആനന്ദം-സദാന്ദം-സ്ഥിരപ്രതിഷ്ഠിതമായി.സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ സ്വാമി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ഭവനമോ ശാഖാശ്രമമോ ഇല്ലെന്നു തന്നെ പറയാം.കായീകാദ്ധ്വാനത്തിന്റെ പര്യായമായിരുന്നു സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ സ്വാമികൾ. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജ്യോതിയാശ്രമവും പരിസരവും ഇന്ന് കാണുന്നവർക്കൊക്കെ കമനീയമാണ്‌.എന്നാൽ ഒരു കാലത്ത്‌ കല്ലും ,മുള്ളും,പുല്ലും,മരവും,കുണ്ടുംകുഴിയും നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു പ്രദേശമായിരുന്നു അവിടമെന്നുള്ള സത്യം അധികമാർക്കും അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ സ്വാമിയുടെ രക്തം വിയർപ്പായി ആ മണ്ണിൽ ഒഴുക്കിയതിന്റെ ഫലമാണ്‌ ആ പ്രദേശം നിരപ്പുഭൂമിയായത്‌. തന്റെ ഭാവനാവിലാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിഫലനമാണ്‌ ഇന്നു കാണുന്ന തിരുവനന്തപുരം ആശ്രമം.ആത്മബോധോദയ സംഘമുള്ള നാൾവരെ ഈ സത്യം ആത്മബോധികൾ മറന്നുകൂടാ.

2000 മെയ്‌ 17ആം തിയതി ഗുരുപ്രസാദ്‌ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികൽ സമാധിയായി.ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികൾക്കു ശേഷം ആത്മബോധോദയ സംഘത്തെ രക്ഷിച്ചു വളർത്തിയ ഗുരുപ്രസാദ്‌ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ തിരുശ്ശരീര വേർപാട്‌ ഭക്തലോകത്തിന്‌ അസഹനീയമായിരുന്നു. താൻ വഹിച്ചലങ്കരിച്ചിരുന്ന മഹാപദവിയിലേക്ക്‌ താൻ തന്നെ സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധൻ സ്വാമിയെ മുന്നമേ നിയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു . അപ്രകാരം 2000 മെയ്‌17-ആം തിയതി പ്രഭാതം മുതൽ സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവനെന്ന പുണ്യനാമധേയത്തോടുകൂടി താൻ ശുഭാനന്ദ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഉപവിഷ്ടനായി. അന്നുമുതൽ ഇന്നോളം അതിപ്രയത്നം ചെയ്ത്‌ സംഘത്തിന്റെ സൽകീർത്തി നിലനിർത്തുന്നതിൽ ഗുരുദേവൻ സദാ തൽപ്പരനായി വർത്തിക്കുന്നു .ഭൗതീകമായ വളർച്ച അത്ഭുതകരമാണ്‌.അത്മീയമായി സംഘത്തിനുണ്ടായ വളർച്ച അതിശനീയമാണ്‌.സാധുജന സംരക്ഷണത്തിന്‌ മറ്റെന്തിനേക്കാൾ ഉപരി സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവൻ പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകുന്നു .രണ്ട്‌ ആശുപത്രികൾ സ്ഥാപിച്ച്‌ രോഗികൾക്ക്‌ ചികിത്സ നൽകി രക്ഷിച്ചുവരുന്നു. സ്വയംതൊഴിൽ പദ്ധതികളാവിഷ്കരിച്ച്‌ നടപ്പാക്കി.തന്റെ കഴിഞ്ഞ ജന്മനക്ഷത്രത്തിന്‌ സാധുക്കൾക്കു നൽകിയ 79 തയ്യൽ യന്ത്രങ്ങൽ ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിട്ടായിരുന്നു .പാവപ്പെട്ട ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ വീടുകൾ നിർമ്മിച്ച്‌ നൽകിയതും തന്റെ ദീനാനുകമ്പയ്ക്ക്‌ മതിയായ തെളിവാണ്‌.

വിശ്രമമില്ലാത്ത പ്രവർത്തനം തന്നെ രോഗിയാക്കി മാറ്റുമ്പോഴും അതിനെ അവഗണിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്‌ ബഹുജനഹിതത്തിനും സുഖത്തിനുമായി ഇന്നും കഠിനപ്രയത്നം ചെയ്യുന്ന നമ്മുടെ ഗുരുനാഥന്റെ ജീവിതരീതി നമുക്കെന്നല്ല ഏവർക്കും ഒരു മാതൃകയാണ്‌.മാതൃകാപുരുഷനായ ഗുരുനാഥന്റെ 80-ആം പിറന്നാൾ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന ഈ മഹനീയ വേളയിൽ നമുക്ക്‌ ഒന്നേ ചെയ്യാനുള്ളു. ഭഗവാന്റെ സുഖവാഴ്ചക്കു വേണ്ടി തന്നോടുതന്നെ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുക.കളങ്കമറ്റ ഹൃദയങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന സ്വീകരിച്ച്‌ നമ്മുടെ പൊന്നമ്പോറ്റി ദീർഘനാൾ വാഴുവാൻ കരുണചൊരിയണേ എന്ന് നമുക്ക്‌ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാം..

കലിയുഗ രക്ഷകന്റെ കരുത്തേറും കർമ്മങ്ങൾ...!!!

കലിയുഗപുരുഷോത്തമനായ ഭഗവാൻ ശുഭാനന്ദഗുരുദേവനെ പ്രകീർത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്‌ സമ്പൂർണ്ണ ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ ആൾ രൂപമായിരുന്ന ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികൾ കീർത്തിച്ച ഏതാനും വരികളാണ്‌ മേൽ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചത്‌.ശുഭാന്ദ ഗുരുദേവൻ പരന്മാരിൽ വാഴുന്ന ദൈവമാണ്‌.പരന്മാരെന്നാൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ മാനുഷർ.മനുഷ്യർ ശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരാകുന്നത്‌ ഗുണസമ്പൂർണ്ണതകൊണ്ടാണ്‌.ഗുണസമ്പൂർണ്ണൻ ഗുരുനാഥൻ മാത്രമേയുള്ളൂ.ഗുരുദേവനിൽ തിളങ്ങിവിളങ്ങി പ്രശോഭിക്കുന്ന മഹൽഗുണങ്ങൾ മറ്റൊരാളിൽ കാണാൻ വലിയ പ്രയാസമാണ്‌.ഭഗവാൻ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികൾ മുതൽ ഇന്നു നമുക്കായി വാഴുന്ന സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികൾ വരെയുള്ള നമ്മുടെ ഗുരുപരമ്പരയിൽ മാറ്റമില്ലാതെ മങ്ങലില്ലാതെ മറവില്ലാതെ മഹൽഗുണങ്ങൾ വിളങ്ങുന്നു.മഹൽഗുണങ്ങളാൽ മഹിമപ്പെട്ടവരായതുകൊണ്ടാണ്‌ ഈ മഹാഗുരുക്കന്മാർ മനുകുലങ്ങളാൽ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരായത്‌.ഗുരു ശരീരമല്ലല്ലോ.ശരീരമായി ഗുരുവിനെ കാണരുതെന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ഗുരുക്കന്മാരെല്ലാം നമ്മെ ഉപദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌.ഗുരുവിനെ ശരീരമായി കണ്ടവരെല്ലാം ഗുരുവിന്റെ ശരീര വേർപാടിനു ശേഷം ഗുരുവില്ലാതെ അലഞ്ഞ ചരിത്രം ഇന്നും നമ്മുടെ മുമ്പിലുണ്ട്‌.

"സ്ഥൂലമല്ല ഗുരു സൂക്ഷ്മമാണെൻ ഗുരു
സ്ഥൂല ശരീരത്തിൽ വാഴുന്നതും ഗുരു"

ഇന്ന് നമുക്കായി തിരുശരീരം സ്വീകരിച്ച്‌ മഹാത്യാഗിയായി വാഴുന്ന ബ്രഹ്മശ്രീ സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവതിരുവടികളിലും സൂക്ഷ്മമായി വാഴുന്നത്‌ ആദിപുരാണാപുരുഷനായ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികൾ തന്നെ.വിശ്വാസിക്ക്‌ ഇതിൽ യാതൊരു തർക്കവുമില്ല.തർക്കിക്കുന്നവരിൽ വിശ്വാസമില്ല.വിശ്വാസമില്ലാത്തവരിൽ ഗുരുവുമില്ല .ഗുരുവുള്ളവർക്ക്‌ അറിവുണ്ട്‌.അറിവുള്ളവന്‌ അവിശ്വാസമില്ല . വിശ്വാസിക്കു എന്നെന്നും ഗുരുവുണ്ട്‌.ഗുരു എന്നുമുള്ളവനാണ്‌.ഉള്ള സത്യത്തിന്റെ പ്രകാശരൂപമാണ്‌ ഗുരു.ആ ഗുരു സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന ശരീരം നമുക്കു പൂജനീയമാണെങ്കിലും ആ സ്ഥൂല ശരീരത്തിനുള്ളിൽ വാഴുന്ന ജ്ഞാനരൂപനാണ്‌ നമ്മുടെ ഗുരുനാഥൻ.ഇപ്രകാരം ജ്ഞാനമായും,കർമ്മമായും,വിശ്വാസമായും,ആശ്വാസമായും,ആനന്ദമായും ഗുരു ഇന്നും നമുക്കായി വാഴുന്നു.സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവൻ എന്നനാമത്തിൽ വാഴുന്നത്‌ ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവനാണ്‌.,ആനന്ദജീ ഗുരുദേവനാണ്‌,ഗുരുപ്രസാദ്‌ ഗുരുദേവനാണ്‌.ഇതിന്റെ ആകെത്തുകയാണ്‌ നമ്മുടെ അമ്പോറ്റി.


ഈ ലേഖകന്റെ വീക്ഷണത്തിൽ സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവൻ തികഞ്ഞ കർമ്മയോഗിയാണ്‌.കർമ്മം ചെയ്യുക മാത്രമാണ്‌ ജന്മമെടുത്തവരുടെ കർത്തവ്യമെന്ന് ഗുരുനാഥൻ തന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽകൂടി ഭക്തന്മാരെ നിതരാം ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.അലസ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ഒരു നിമിഷം പോലും തന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് അടുത്തും അകലെയും നിന്ന് തന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനം വീക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഈ എളിയവൻ ധൈര്യപൂർവ്വം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുവാൻ കഴിയും.നൂറുനൂറ്‌ ഉദാഹരണങ്ങൾ നിരത്താൻ കഴിയും.അതിനൊന്നും ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ തുനിയുന്നില്ല.താൻ ഭക്തനും സന്യാസിയുമായിരുന്ന കാലത്ത്‌ കാൽനടയായി വിദൂരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽപ്പോലും പ്രാർത്ഥനകൾക്ക്‌ പോയിട്ടുള്ളത്‌ നമുക്കേവർക്കും ബോധ്യമുള്ള സംഗതിയാണ്‌.അന്നുള്ള ശഖാശ്രമങ്ങളുടെ നിർമ്മിതിയിലും താൻ വഹിച്ച പങ്ക്‌ നിസ്സാരമല്ല.ആശ്രമങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കാനും പ്രതിഷ്ഠ നടത്താനും ആശ്രമകർമ്മങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ നിസ്തൂലമായ നേതൃത്വം നൽകുവാനും ഗുരുനാഥൻ സദാ സന്നദ്ധനായിരുന്നു.പ്രതിഫലേച്ഛ കൂടാതെ ചെയ്യുന്ന കർമ്മമാണ്‌ നിഷ്കാമകർമ്മം.നിഷ്കാമകർമ്മത്തിന്റെ ഫലം ജനസമൂഹത്തിനു പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ നിഷ്കാമകർമ്മിക്കുണ്ടാകുന്ന നിത്യാനന്ദം അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന ഈ ത്യാഗിവര്യന്‌ സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരു ദേവൻ എന്ന നാമധേയം തികച്ചും അർഹതപ്പെട്ടതാണെന്ന് ആരും തല കുലുക്കി സമ്മതിക്കും.ആരോടും ഒന്നും ഒളിക്കാതെ പട്ടാപ്പകൽ പോലെ വെളിവായിപ്രകാശിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധജീവിതത്തിനുടമയായ നമ്മുടെ ഗുരുനാഥനെ നമുക്ക്‌ രക്ഷകനും പിതാവുമായി ലഭിച്ചു.നമ്മെ ഗുരുവിനെപ്പോലെ പ്രകാശ വസ്തുക്കളാക്കിത്തീർക്കുവാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ്‌ ഈ വാർദ്ധക്യ വേളയിലും തന്റെ മഹാപ്രയത്നം വിനിയോഗിക്കുന്നത്‌.നിർമ്മാണം....നിർമ്മാണം....അതിനുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള കർമ്മം,കഠിനപ്രയത്നം ഇതാണ്‌ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ മുദ്രാവാക്യം.വിശ്രമം എന്ന ഒരു പദം സാദനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ നിഘണ്ടുവിലില്ല.കർമ്മനിരതന്മാരെ താൻ വളരെയധികം ഇഷ്ടപ്പേടുന്നു.മടിപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരെ സൽക്കർമ്മമാർഗ്ഗം കാട്ടിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു.കഠിനപ്രയത്നത്തിൽക്കൂടി ഭഗവാൻ ശരീരരക്ഷ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു .താൻ തന്നെ മാതൃകയായി നിൽക്കുന്നു. ആത്മപോഷണത്തിനായി ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു .താൻ തന്നെ ജ്ഞാനിയായി വാഴുന്നു.കലിയുഗത്തിലെ ജീവിതം അതികഠിനമാണെന്ന് വർത്തമാനകാലത്തെ കഠോരപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നമ്മെ ബോധ്യമാക്കുന്നു .അസ്വസ്ഥമായ മനസ്സോടുകൂടിയല്ലാതെ സമാധാന കാംക്ഷികൾക്ക്‌ ഉറങ്ങാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ഈ കലിയുഗകാലത്ത്‌ കലിയെ വധിച്ച്‌ മനുഷ്യ കുലത്തെ ഉയർത്താൻ കലിയുഗ രക്ഷകനാകുന്ന ഭഗവാൻ ഇന്നും സദാനന്ദസിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവ തിരുവടികളിൽ വാണിരുന്ന് കരുത്തേറുന്ന കർമ്മം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈകർമ്മങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ തുണയായി നിൽക്കാൻ ആരോക്കെ തയ്യാറാകുമോ അവർക്ക്‌ ഗുരുവിന്റെ കരുണാകടാഷമുണ്ടാകുമെന്നുള്ളതിന്‌ രണ്ടുപക്ഷമില്ല.ഈ കർമ്മങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ മുമ്പിൽ വിലങ്ങുതടിയായി നിന്ന് കർമ്മം മുടക്കാം എന്നു വിചാരിച്ചാൽ അത്‌ ഒരിക്കലും സഫലമാകാൻ പോകുന്നില്ലെന്ന് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നമുക്ക്‌ വിളിച്ചറിയിക്കാം.അതിനാൽ മടിവിട്ടുണരുക! ലോക രക്ഷക്ക്‌ ഒരുങ്ങുക! പടയാളികളായി പരിവർത്തനം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുക! കലിയുഗത്തിലെ കഠോര യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ആത്മബോധോദയ സംഘത്തിലെ ഓരോ അംഗവും പോരാളികളായി മാറണം.കലിയുഗ രക്ഷകൻ സദാനന്ദ സിദ്ധ ഗുരുദേവനെന്ന നാമധേയത്തിൽ നമ്മെ നയിക്കും.80-വയസ്സ്‌ ഭഗവാനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച്‌ ഒരു പ്രായമല്ല. പക്ഷേ,സ്വീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്‌ മായാശരീരമാണ്‌.അതിന്റെ രക്ഷ, അതിൽ ഭഗവാന്റെ സുരക്ഷിതമായ ദീർഘകാല വാഴ്ച ഇതെല്ലാം നമ്മുടെ ഗുരുനാഥനിൽത്തന്നെ അർപ്പിച്ച്‌ നമുക്കു ഭക്തിപൂർവ്വം പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാം.

തീവ്രവാദമേ നിനക്കു വിട....!

മതസൗഹാർദ്ദത്തിന്റെയും വിശ്വസാഹോദര്യത്തിന്റെയും
മഹനീയ സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ എന്നെന്നും ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിച്ചിരുന്ന
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്വന്തം നാട്‌ എന്ന് നാം അഭിമാനിക്കുന്ന
നമ്മുടെ നാട്‌ എന്നെന്നും ലോകത്തിന്‌ ഒരു മാതൃകയായിരുന്നു.
എന്നാൽ നമ്മുടെ ഈ അഭിമാനത്തിന്‌ ക്ഷതമേൽപ്പിച്ചു
കൊണ്ട്‌ ഇന്നിതാ അവിടവിടെ മതാന്ധതയുടെ തീജ്വാലകൾ
ഉയരുന്നു. പരസ്പരം പോർവിളികൾ മുഴക്കിക്കൊണ്ട്‌ കൊല്ലാനും,
ചാകാനും, സന്നദ്ധമായി നിൽക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെയുണ്ടെന്നു
കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ ആത്മാഭിമാനത്തോടുകൂടി ഉയർപ്പിടിച്ചിരുന്ന
ശിരസ്സുകൾ ലജ്ജാഭാരത്താലും അപമാനത്തലും കുനിഞ്ഞു
പൂകുന്നു. ഇവിടെ ഇതുപാടില്ല എന്ന് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ പറയുന്ന
ധീരാത്മാക്കളെപ്പോലും പുച്ഛിച്ചു കൊണ്ട്‌ ഇവരുടെ പ്രവർത്ത
നം തുടരുന്നു.

തീവ്രവാദമെന്നാണ്‌ അവരതിനു പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. ഇവർ
കഥയറിയാതെ ആട്ടം കാണുന്നവരെപ്പോലെയാണ്‌.ഒരുമതവും
ഇവിടെ തീവ്രവാദത്തേയോ മതത്തിന്റെ പേരിലുള്ള ഹിംസ
യേയോ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ല. എല്ലാ മതങ്ങളും പഠിപ്പി
ക്കുന്നത്‌ പരസ്പര സ്നേഹവും സഹകരണവും മാത്രം.

ഏതുമത മായാലും അതു ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്‌ ഈശ്വരനിലേക്കാണ്‌
സ്രഷ്ടവായ ദൈവം ഒരു മതത്തേയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചില്ല.വിശ്വാസ
ങ്ങളുടെ പേരിൽ സംഘടിച്ച്‌ ഇവിടെ മതമുണ്ടായി.ആ മതം
ഭീകരവാദത്തിന്‌ അടിമപ്പെടുന്നത്‌ ദൈവ വിരോധത്തിന്‌
വഴിയൊരുക്കും .ദൈവവിശ്വാസികൾക്കും ദേശസ്നേഹികൾക്കും
ഇതു സഹിക്കാൻ സാധ്യമല്ല. ഈ മണ്ണിൽ നിന്നും ഈ
വിഷവൃക്ഷത്തെ വേരോടെ പിഴുതെറിയണം. ഒരു വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ
സുഖഭോഗങ്ങൾക്കും അധികാര പ്രമത്തതയ്ക്കും വേണ്ടി
പാവങ്ങളായ മനുഷ്യാത്മാക്കളെ കുരുതികൊടുക്കുന്ന ഈ കാട്ടാള
നീതി ഈ മണ്ണിൽ വേരുറച്ചുകൂടാ. ഇതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം അറബി
ക്കടലിന്റെ ആഴങ്ങളിലാണ്‌..

ശാന്തിയും സമാധാനവും ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്ന ഋഷിവര്യന്മാരുടെ
പുണ്യനാടാണ്‌ ഭാരതം അവിടെ ഒരു വിധത്തിലും അശാന്തി
യും അസ്വസ്ഥതയും പുലർന്നുക്കൂടാ.ഭീകര സംഘങ്ങളിൽ
മലയാളം സംസാരിക്കുന്നവരും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന വാർത്ത
മലയാളിയുടെ ധർമ്മബോധത്തേയും,പ്രാണിസ്നേഹത്തേയും
പിടിച്ചുലക്കുന്നു.നാടിനെ കശാപ്പുശാലയാക്കുന്ന ഈ തീവ്രവാദ
ത്തോട്‌ എന്നന്നേക്കും വിടപറയാൻ ബോധമുള്ളവർ തയ്യാറവുക.

ശുഭാനന്ദ ഗുരുദേവന്‍

Lord Subhananda born on 28th April 1882 in Kulayikkal, Budhanoor village, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala to the devout Sambava couples Ittyathi and Kochu Neeli. Father was an astrologer and mother was pious woman. The couple was endlessly visiting the holy temples and performed several Pooja and Bhajans for a child. After the long twenty four years of marriage, the fortunate Kochu Neeli gave birth to a blessed child at the age of forty and blissfully named him as Paappan.

In small age itself, the “child” started giving spiritual discourses and did wonders. The bewildered parents thought some invisible power had entered their son and took the child to temples and renowned astrologers to seek the remedy. However, the priest in the temple devotionally said “you gave birth to the protector of mankind, a marvelous gift for this Kali Yug; who will be worshipped by millions”.

From the 16th November 1888 Friday morning, the child has a heavenly light and its rays are omnipotent and its strength bespeaks of Kalki. This experience had lasted for three days continuously and returned to normal life on the fourth day of his eternal sight of Para-Brahma. He discovered that in the inner self of every individual, sparks of this heavenly light is burning and its existence can be realized only with the help of Jagath-Guru.

Following mother's death in 1894, Gurudev went on to pilgrimages inquest of studying the super spirit that immersed Him for three continuous days. The determined Gurudev has visited various holy places and met with different scholars, but no one could explain about the meaning of the revelation that He experienced.


Thapogiri: Thereafter during 1914, He went on to a deep mediation underneath a laurel tree for the realization of the divine light which he had experienced for three days from the 18th November 1888. This place is now known and referred as “Thapogiri”. After three years intense meditation He attained the heavenly enlightenment and that was the birth of the Njana Kalki..


Subhananda Gurudev started His noble mission of liberating the untouchable from the misery widely practiced and prevailed from slavery. He mingled with the underprivileged and so called untouchables, to educate them that the God has no distinction between and all creations are equal to Him. He declared there is only one Supreme Spirit and that is the creator, protector and savior of all mankind. He declared that Lord Himself has taken birth in a Sambava caste in order to eradicate the injustice prevailed. He declared;

~ all are one, one in Athma, one in harmony, you are not alien, if you feel alien that is the ignorance in you, because all are My creation and I am not different any ~.

In the 1918s, Gurudev had reached “Cherukole” a small village located in Mavelikara Taluk of Alappey District in Kerala, South India. He conveyed spiritual gatherings and other social activities. Gradually more and more people to refuge at His feet and got attracted towards His divine power and large crowed attended the prayers. He advised his followers worship one God and to discard devils from within. He had stiff resistance and opposition from the so called upper caste leaders. However, Gurudev was determined on his resolve to establish dharma and continued it with increasing vigor.In 1914, Gurudev has established Subhananda Ashram “the abode of peace and ecstasy in this world” in Cherukole, Mavelikara, Alappey District in Kerala, South India with the mission to attain status of “one caste, one religion, one God to mankind”. He declared;

~ Divine knowledge is the creator; He created this beautiful world for the human being to live peacefully by following the path of Athma-Bodham.

He created no caste and religion as all are His children and are equal to Him, you believe in me, you are my children and I am your protector ~

The ashram was inaugurated by the Travancore maharaja’s nephew Artist Rama Varma Raja. Gurudev shown immense sympathy and care for the poor and affiliated Himself to the people as the savior and protector. People from all walks of the community (caste and religion) are coming to Subhananda Ashram (hereinafter referred as Sannidhan) for salvation from sufferings, distresses, sins and deceases.

Subhananda Sannidhan stands for the moral ethics that is unhesitant acceptable to the people of all faith. Gurudev teaches followers to attain self realization in order to see the eternal light which resides inside of all of us. Man is not self illumine, but the Guru lights the lamp in him and in the light emanates he can see himself and the Guru just like we see the sun and sun light by our eyes. This precept is akin to Christ’s proclaim, “I am the way and the light” and the Upanishad teachings of “Tamaso ma Jyothirgamaya, Mirthyur ma Amrutham Gamaya”.

As lamp is required to spread light, when light is spread though disciples, the world over becomes illuminated and there is no difference between Guru and disciple. They are one and the same. Movement for unity of various cults is another essence of Gurudev’s messages and He confers us to; bliss

~~Wander not in search of God; gain His sight in your soul,

Gain this eternal bliss, with the divine knowledge

Human beings are never satisfied with mere material comfort, they always strive to attain something else. What is that thing? That is eternity: the universal truth on which the whole universe exists!

Prayers through chanting of nama-sankeerthan are the way to sayujya.

Prayer is the process of purification of mind and soul in order to consecrate oneself and install God in us.

Gurudev disclosed that mankind is born with sin, lives doing sins (lawlessness) and harms self (life), and fails to realize the purpose of life.

God has created mankind with the five organs of sense and gave him intelligence (brain) to think and live a sensible life to the satisfaction of self and neighbors alike and according to the heavenly principles. However without realizing this truth, men always commit lawlessness and destroy themselves.

The entire visible and invisible are the creations from divine knowledge, the supreme divine power. The visible means the planets, plants, all living things, trees, air, water, sun, moon, stars and the human body. These creations are not eternal and thus will perish! The invisible is “Athma or soul” which is the seed of para-brahma that has no end unlike the visible, but has to merge with the prime atom, the divine power.
